Cannes Lions is only one week away, and we hope you’re as excited as we are to join us, whether in person or tuning in virtually. 

To support your coverage, here are the latest updates from the Press Office - everything you need to stay informed and prepared as the Festival approaches.

Join us for an exclusive Press Briefing, followed by a drinks reception on Sunday 15 June from 17:30-19:00pm CET at the Cannes Lions School Campus. This is your chance to hear directly from Cannes Lions representatives about what you can expect from the 2025 Festival, and to connect with fellow journalists onsite. 

This year’s speakers include LIONS spokespeople such as Frank Starling, Chief DEI Officer; Marian Brannelly, Global Director of Awards; Natasha Woodwall, Director of Content; Ed Davidson, Chief Growth Officer and more.

The 2025 Content Programme continues to evolve with our Creativity & Toolbox stream expanding with the new session, ‘From Middle Earth to Rebirth: The Next Revolution is IRL’ featuring DDB Worldwide’s Chaka Sobani, Colossal Bioscience’s Ben Lamm and Director Peter Jackson.

The Talent & Culture stream also expands with our new workshop, ‘Leadership Behaviours That Drive the World’s Most Creative Companies (Option #2)’, led by Fearless Creative Leadership Founder, Charles Day. 

During the Festival week our official partners will host inspiring talks, VIP guests, networking events and immersive experiences across the city of Cannes. Expect unforgettable experiences including hands-on crafting at Pinterest’s Manifestival, meeting top athletes at Stagwell’s SPORT BEACH and AR exploration with Meta. Please note that you may need to pre-register in order to access some of these spaces.

Press Accreditation closes very soon on Tuesday 10 June 2025, 11.59PM BST. 

If any of your colleagues still need to register then please let them know. 

We cannot guarantee capacity to process additional press accreditations during the Festival or after this date. The Cannes Lions Press Team reserves the right to decline late or onsite requests.

If you're unable to attend the Festival in person, we don't want you to miss out! You can still attend Cannes Lions through our digital experience, by applying for press accreditation.

Get a digital view into the 2025 Festival with live streamed daily Awards Shows, a curated selection of live streamed talks from our Lumière, Debussy and Rotonde stages, plus talks from all official Festival stages that are available until 11 July. Access to the live stream begins on Monday 16 June.
